Dice Video

Background: Dice Video was an independent VHS label established by Des Bitton in Gloucestershire. Dice became notable for being one of the first British labels to release anime in the country. They would shut down in 1984, only to get revived a year after, following an acquisition by Firing Line Films and was reconverted into the British branch for Video for Adults.

Availability: Rare. Dice released a little bit of everything, namely video nasties, pornography (distributing Firing Line Video's releases in the UK), public domain cartoons, anime and martial arts films. Notable releases include Murder in Texas and dubs of the infamous North Korean propaganda cartoon Squirrel and Hedgehog.
