6th Logo
(1995-1998)

Nicknames: "Lasers 2", "The Huge W", "Blue W"

Logo: Same as the 4th logo, but the background is red, the lasers are gray, and now the W is blue and bigger. The text is now silver. In 1997, the text is reffered to as "Group W Productions, Inc."

FX: Redone by PDI, the animation.

Cheesy Factor: The CGI is bland.

Music/Sounds: A windchime, similar to logo 5. With same as logo 4.

Availability: Rare for the 1995-1997 and 1997-1998 versions. An easy find for today is the video. You can find this logo on VHS tapes.

Scare Factor: Median, due it's fast pace.

7th Logo
(1998-2004)

Nicknames: "Shining W", "The CGI W","Yellow W"

Logo: On a futuristic background, we see many comets, in CGI, forming a yellow version of last logo. When it's done, we see the words "GROUP W PRODUCTIONS, INC." coming in below.

FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: CGI animation for the late 1990's.

Music/Sounds: A fanfare, similar to the FOX theme to be exact.

Availibility: This appears at the end of news programs for Westinghouse stations, like KDKA from 1998-2004. (Note that this does NOT appear after CBS Morning/Evening News). An easy find for this logo is VHS tapes and DVD's by this company.

Scare Factor: Low, this is nothing boring, compared to the next logo...

8th Logo
(2004-2006)

Nicknames: "Steel W", "Boring W"

Logo: Set in the same BG as logo 7, there is a steel version of logo 7.

FX: None.

Music/Sounds: Another tune that sounds like logo 7.

Availibility: No longer current. Starting in 2010, it's a placeholder logo. DVDs have this logo also.

Scare Factor: None.

9th Logo
(2006-)

Nicknames: "CGI W"

Logo: We see a large "W" zooming out and spinning. When it ends, "GROUP W PRODUCTIONS", fade in below it. When the words below the "W" ends to fade in, "FROM" fades in above.

FX/SFX: CGI.

Music/Sounds: An zooming sound, then an low orchestral note when "FROM" fades in.

Availibility: Current. You must see now their new shows.

Scare Factor: Low.
