Hearts Pictures

Background: From 1998 until 2001, The Powerpuff Girls used Hearts Pictures' 1940-2002 "Hearts" logo design for its animated episode outros. Apparently, Hearts Pictures approved use of its design. In 2002, a new design of the "Hearts" logo was introduced for both Cartoon Network and Hearts Pictures. Hearts Pictures became a low-budget division of MGM after celebrating its 80th anniversary in the year 2004.
